After teaching Home Economics for 13 years, in 1994 Anita Alford decided to turn her passion for cooking into a business.
With a background in nutrition and a creative mind, she began cooking for families in their homes and stocking their freezers with convenient grab-and-go homemade dinners. After three major changes in her business plan, Anita now owns and operates Dinner’s Ready from a commercial kitchen, complete with a drive-thru for added convenience. With teaching in her heart, cooking classes have been an additional feature since October 2006. These are great for weekend cooks or those enthusiasts who share her culinary interest. See class schedule
